Not so fun year’s end for XRP

Next big exchange, this time the OKCoin announced, the will suspend the XRP-support in January 2021, amid ongoing regulatory case. The US’s SEC sued Ripple and two of its leaders for illegal security-offering. Of course, the game of the lawyers just started. The first question is, this wasn’t illegal for the last seven years, but it is at the end of 2020?

Another fun fact, Ripple has a declaration by the government, the XRP token is a digital currency. And the SEC, as an authority, belongs to the government. This lawsuit will be a very interesting battle, and the consequences will spin it in the whole crypto industry.
