The equation is pretty simple as the company Ripple will not get free FLR tokens and neither will their bigger partners and non participating exchanges’ wallets. So only the roughly 45 billion community-owned XRP tokens are eligible for the airdrop. The Flare will distribute 46 billion FLR tokens, in early 2021. The rate is 1,0073 FLR for 1 XRP.
The Flare will distribute half of the total supply in this way, to the community. The price of tokens isn’t known yet, of course, but expectations are big. The Flare Network would set the Ethereum’s smart contracts to the XRP’s network, upgrading it to a dapp-platform without change the core codebase.
