Novatti, the Australian payment processor will be using Ripple’s solution. The company already has partnerships with AliPay, GooglePay, and Visa, but now, they want to step into the crypto-industry, as users. Transactions will be sending through XRP and On-Demand Liquidity protocol. So the clients won’t be necessary to maintain foreign bank-accounts or holding foreign currencies.
Ripple has strong international expanding strategy, but in the case of Australia, they are in the news for another reason. This summer, Ripple has been sued by several Australian companies, because the PayID service violates some Australian trademark laws.
